She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Joe John Scott; her parents, James Benjamin Powell and Sarah Salley Parker Powell; her children, James Edward Scott (Linda) of Hartsville and Barbara Jean Thomas Lewis (Floyd) of Lake City; her grandchildren, Wendy Perkins, Gregg Scott, Tony Thomas and Gloria Welch; her great grandchildren, April Tisdale (Bran), Reba Thomas and Carmie Thomas; her great great grandchildren, Jazmyn Perkins, Braelyn Tisdale, Lillian Toro and Tobias Horne; her sister Louise Welch; her grandson Brian Thomas; and her siblings, Horace Powell, Kenny Powell, Carrie McElveen, Betty Smoak and Valerie Gurganeous.
