It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriett Russ (Scranton, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Matthews and Hannah Miles Matthews; and her siblings, Tommy Matthews, Isabelle Matthews Langston and Clifford Matthews.
She is survived by: her husband Willie "Tank" Russ; her children, Kenneth L. "Kenny" Coward, Jr. (Sheila) and Tammy Coward; her grandchildren, Redden Coward and Anna Coward; her stepdaughter Peggy Owens; her stepgrandchildren, Nece Owens and Kim Owens; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Stephanie Owens.
