It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Parker of Scranton, South Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Watson Parker; her parents, David James Cole and Jo Ann Phillips Smith; her son Mart Vernon Parker; her stepfather Francis B. "Smitty" Smith; and her sisters, Mary Cole Satterfield and Linda Cole Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughter Stacey Lynn Parker of Scranton; and her uncle Jimmy Phillips of Hebron.
