He was predeceased by: his parents, Garlon J. Evans and Bessie Wright Matthews Evans; his brother Robert Legrand Evans; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Morris. He is survived by: his siblings, Libby Morris of Lake City, Nancy Crawford (Mitchell) and Dale Anderson (Warren); his sister-in-law Diane Evans of Coward; his nephew Evan Anderson (Rebecca); and his nieces, Dr. Robin Matutina (Nevin), Leslie Thompson, Traci Watts (Donnie), Ashley Yarborough and Mary Beth Matthews.
