We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2024, at the age of 92, Frances Brown (Scranton, South Carolina), born in Chesterfield, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fitzhugh Blackman and Martha Burr Blackman; her son Lev William "Billy" Brown, III; and her siblings, William Blackman, James Blackman and Agnes Tucker.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Coker of Florence; her grandchildren, Davie Coker (Jessica) of Lake City and Rebecca Witherspoon (Steven) of Summerville; her great grandchildren, Connor Coker of Lake City, Carsten Coker of Lake City, Linley Witherspoon of Summerville and Maggie Witherspoon of Summerville; her daughter-in-law Judy Matthews Brown of Scranton; and her sisters, Louise Dixon of Bennettsville, Martha Summer (Billy) of Dovesville and Joy Flowers (Bernard) of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
