He was predeceased by: his wife Geneva Ard Miles; his parents, Edward D. Miles and Lillie Mae Evans Miles; his stepchildren, Freddy Tyler, Teddy Tyler and Donna Tyler; his brother Vinson Miles; and his grandparents, Albert Evans and Pauline Evans.
He is survived by: his daughter Dannette McKnight (Jay) of Sumter; his siblings, Johnny Miles of Florence, Terry Miles of Coward, Sharon Tanner of Coward and Debbie Baxley (Larry) of Scranton; his friend Jimmy McDonald; his great-niece Aliya Collins (Coward); and his pet Blade. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
