We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025, at the age of 63, Dorothy Theresa Smith of Scranton, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Joe Powell and Leah Coker Powell; her grandchildren, Allison Prosser and Jeremy Chockley; and her brother Mike Baxley.
She is survived by: her husband John M. Smith of Scranton; her children, Sandra Tilton (Mark) and Joe Chockley (Lori); her stepsons, Dustin Smith (Beth) and John Smith (Jessica); and her siblings, Roy Lee Coker (Theresa), Patty Owens (Justin), Mickey Powell and Steve Driggers. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coker Miles Cemetery (5011 Woods Bay Rd, Olanta, SC 29114).
