He is survived by: his mother Nettie Mae Floyd Powell of Cades; his children, Travis Powell (Amanda) of Florence, Stephanie Boggs (Paul) of Effingham, Brandon Powell of Florence, Desmond Johnson (Kaitlyn) of Greeleyville, Kayla Powell of Sumter, Heather Flannery of Sumter and Devan Powell of Barrineau; and his siblings, Bueline Poston (Jimmy) of Coward, Vela Mae Powell of Cades, Jane Watford (Hayward) of Lamar and Edward L. Powell (Michelle) of Cades. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren.
