It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Faye Mixon (Scranton, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy C. Lee and Grethel Floyd Lee; her son Marvin Donald Mixon, Jr.; her grandson Charles Bradley Thigpen; and her brother Charles Russell Lee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne T. Campbell of Pennsylvania, Donna Coker (Tim) of Darlington and Dana Myers of Florence, SC; her grandchildren, Donald Lee Thigpen, Whitney Thigpen Anthony Thigpen (Milena), Christopher Coker, Ashton Coker, Lindsey Myers and Emily Myers; her great grandchildren, Andrew Thigpen, Catherine Thigpen and Aubri Lewis; her sister Susan Cole of Bishopville, SC; and her close friend Donnie Weaver. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bethel Baptist Church, 1520 N. Jones Road, Olanta, SC 29114 or to Central Baptist Church, 512 Spring Street, Darlington, SC 29532.
