William Augustus Avinger Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2022, at the age of 47, William Augustus Avinger of Santee, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father William "Billy" Avinger; and his daughter Novaleigh Avinger. He is survived by: his mother Linda Risher Hodges; his siblings, Brandy Ford (Travers) and Jay Williams (Miranda); his wife Norma Jean Avinger; his children, Hallie-Diane Avinger and William Ashton Avinger; his stepchildren, Carrie Adams, Cindy Goodman, Thomas Goodman and Jimmy Adams; his nieces, Brayla and Trinity Ford; and his grandchildren, Opie, Jayden, Kyle, Aubrey, Haylee and Hazel. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
