He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Dewey and Marie Freda Machacek (Winter); his wife Nancy; and his siblings, Delores, Daryl and DeLyle.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Machacek (Brandy) of Grand Junction, CO, Monica Hall (Sonny) of Santee, SC and Dayna Greene (Chris) of Peyton, CO; his grandchildren, Marie (James), Michael, Alan (Cassie), Charles, Trey (Anna), Chelsea (Seth), Marisa, Joey (Lexi) of Jake, AJ, Aden and KC; his great grandchildren, Justin, Mackenzie, Dylan, Bradley, Jacob, Gianna, Rhys, Izzy, Rylee, Allison, Xoei, Hadley, Marshall and Vivie; and his brothers, Ronald and Kevin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In his final act of selflessness, the family is requesting donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 28105, in lieu of flowers, per Verne's wishes.
