We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2020, at the age of 81, Ray Howard Burchette of Santee, South Carolina, born in Huntington, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rita A. Burchette (Billups); his parents, Oliver Thomas Burchette and Violet Louise Burchette (Damron); his sister Frances Burchette Prince; and his children, Gary Ray Burchette, Tami Burchette Torras, Terry Allen Burchette, Teresa Allard and Gene Wilson. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Flowers may be sent to Avinger Funeral Home or donations may be made in memory of Ray Burchette to the Elloree First Baptist Church, Post Office Box 387, Elloree, South Carolina 29047.
