He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hyatt and Maude Wells Hyatt; his brother Edwin Hyatt; and his son Rodney Frederick Hyatt. He is survived by: his wife Helen Hipps Hyatt; his daughter Rebecca; his son-in-law Bill Armstrong of Santee; his son Richard; his daughters-in-law, Vicki Hyatt of Waynesville and Sarah Hyatt Sutton of Cookeville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Sarah (Jim Bos), Stephanie (Mack Johnson), Coleman (Ashley Hyatt) and Shay Hyatt of Waynesville; and his great grandchildren, Hillary, Blake Armstrong, Tyndall, Jordan Faucett, Nicole Bos, Grace, Coy, Cale Johnson, Husdon and Harper Hyatt.
