She is survived by: her son Elijah Muhammad Shuler (Jameelah); her granddaughters, Ashley and Ty'annah; her siblings, Gracie Brown of Vance, SC, James Mallard of Newark, NJ, Harry Shuler of North Plainfield, NJ, Leonard Shuler of Syracuse, NY. and Jeannette Washington; and her daughter Barbara Jacinta Benjamin. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, three aunts, cousins, and friends.
