He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Berkey and Mabel Shaffer Berkey; his children, Timothy Kyle Berkey and Melissa Lynn Berkey; and his siblings, Milford Berkey, Rodger Berkey, Connie Edmison and Joyce Berkey.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Zeigenfuss Berkey; his children, Mitchell (Cheryl Galle) and Trina Berkey; his grandchildren, Austin Berkey (Sarah Black), Paige Berkey and Brett Berkey; and his siblings, Norma Tremain (Robert), Imogene William, Ronald Berkey (Rhonda), Laura Cameron, Rodney Berkey (Nancy) and Sandy Law.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hope Lutheran Church (10154 SC-6, Vance, SC 29163).
