With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Lee Petty of Santee, South Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilly Williams Krause and Bill Krause; and his brothers, William Krause and Joey Krause. He is survived by: his wife Susie Petty; his children, Wendy Mink, Tabatha Petty (Steven Holloway), Jessica Petty-Hritz and Robert Lee Petty; and his sisters, Mary Smith and Debra Walter. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
