He is survived by: his wife Pat Simmons; his sons, Joey Simmons and Brian Simmons; his grandsons, Justin Grant Simmons and Bryson Simmons; his great grandchildren, Rylee Simmons and Chloe Simmons; and his sisters, Vernell McEntire and Sharon Brewer.
