We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2018, at the age of 71, Ed Hayes (Sandy Springs, South Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Loyd Carthey. He is survived by: his parent Margie Timms Hayes; his wife Peggy Whittle Hayes; his daughters, Robin Hayes Tanner (Jeff) of Johnsonville, SC and Jenny Hayes Lee (Darrell) of Cumming; his grandchildren, Caleb Tanner, Caroline Tanner, Caitlin Lawrence (Philip), Aaron Risner and Brandon Risner; his stepgrandchildren, Kori Casperson (Mac), Jeremy Lee and Jack Lee; and his great grandchildren, Allie Lawrence, Payton Lawrence and Avery Lawrence.
