She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Gunter and Sally Gunter; her husband John "Cellus" Shumpert; and her siblings, Loyd, Leo, Grady, Cyrus, Griff, Donley, Paul and Edna Steadman.
She is survived by: her daughter Miriam; her son-in-law Umbarger; her grandson Neal (Natalie Umbarger); and her great grandchildren, Carson, Collin and Chase Umbarger.
