It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sena Ernestine Martin (Saluda, South Carolina), who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Elonzo Parris and Essie Gray Parris; her husband Loyd Rayburn Martin; her former husbands, Kenneth W. Bane and Charles H. McGee; her son John McGee; and her siblings, Charles Parris, Raymond Parris, Buford Parris of Gordon Parris, R. C, Burt Parris, Ruby Widener, Sarah Wilson and Lula Merchant.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Bane (Deborah) of Madison, GA, Kenneth Bane (Angelia) of Greenwood, Vicki Bane of Spartanburg, Melissa Bane of Greenville, SC, Steven Bane (Teresa) of Anderson, SC, Jennifer McGee Fields (Lee) of Edgefield and Debbie McGee Efird of Saluda; and her sister Alta Koning (Otto) of Chilhowie, VA. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
