He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Banks and Annie Ruth Nicholson Banks; and his sisters, Katherine Sawyer and Joyce Boozer. He is survived by: his wife Miriam R. Banks; and his children, Richard Wyman Banks (Heather) and Judy Lynn Banks of Saluda. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
