He is survived by: his daughters, Lakeisha Swanson (Tony) of Lithonia, Myranda Butler of Saluda, SC. and Ashley Griffin (Keith) of Lexington, SC.; his grandchildren, Morgan, Kennedy, Brandon and James; his niece Alita Lisa Mason (Keith) of Fredericksburg; his cousin Robert 'Tiger Irvin; his adoptive children, Denise Bates, Charisse Bates, Stacy Rector, Barrett, Peaches Minick, Eboni and Jalen Minick; his adoptive mother Eliza Werts; and his siblings, Fannie Pitts (Tyrone), Diane Werts, Wallace Werts (Bridget), Charles Werts, Vernelle Butler, Laveda Brayboy and Warren Butler.
