She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hoyt Berry and Reverend Kitty Taylor Berry; her husband John Evans; her son John Earl Evans; and her brother James Allen Berry.
She is survived by: her children, Harvey Evans of Batesburg, Daryl Evans (Melissa) of Aiken, Scott Evans (Maria) of Saluda and Dale Evans of Batesburg; her siblings, Betty Jean Key of Royston, GA, Mary Julia Scarborough of Edgefield, Joyce Crow (Wesley) of Morganton, NC and Harold Fox (Malinda) of Batesburg; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Gunter, Tina Evans and Rachel Lindler; and her grandchildren, Mark, James, Luke, Olivia, Johnette and Brandon Evans. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
