It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Melvin (Saluda, South Carolina), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest M. Thomas and Grace Coley-Thomas. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dominique Lovejoy, Elizabeth Horne and Terrance R. Lovejoy; and her children, Janice Lovejoy-Horne (Benjamin), Vanessa Melvin, Terrance E. Lovejoy (Christine) and David Melvin. She is also survived by sisters and brothers, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
