It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis Wells Jr. (Saluda, South Carolina), who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Cleveland Wells, Sr. and Mary Farrow Wells; his wife Betty Ruth Butler Wells; and his daughter Angley Wells. He is survived by: his siblings, Willie Wells and Gennie Mae Brunson; his children, Clifford Wells (Tonya) of Saluda, SC, James C. Wells of Saluda, SC, Gloria Hendley of Saluda, SC and Shelia Padgett (Kenneth) of Johnston, SC; his siblings, Johnny Miles of Ninety, George Wells (Mary) of Camden, SC, Grace Henley of Greenwood, SC and Janie Bell Wells of Aiken, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Nellie Christie and Thomas C. Farrow. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
