She was predeceased by: her parents, Rubie Bouknight and Freeda Able Bouknight; her husband Ted Brown Martin; her daughter-in-law Bobbie Martin; and her siblings, Carolyn Sloan and Rubie Bouknight, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Riley, Billy Martin and Kyle Martin (Tammy); her grandchildren, Ashley Bouknight (Ty), Brantley Buzhardt (Scott), Chad Martin (Shannon), Chase Martin (Cassie), Colby Strickland (Tommy) and Cooper Martin (Kelsie); her pet Toot; and her great grandchildren, Chad Martin, Chase Martin, Cooper Martin, Cade Bouknight, Chad Martin, Jr., Cash Martin, Bubba Buzhardt, Knox Bouknight, Walker Buzhardt and Reece Strickland. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a soon-to-arrive great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Church (793 Columbia Hwy, Saluda, SC 29138). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Emory United Methodist Church Cemetery (423 Emory Rd, Saluda, SC 29138).
