Mary Elizabeth Clamp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Clamp in Saluda, South Carolina, who passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Porter and Fannie Lee Edwards Porter; her husband Jefferson Roosevelt; her siblings, Lewis Edward Porter, Thomas Richard Porter, James Everett Porter, William Ronald Porter, Alice Rebecca Waters, Willie Ruth Langford and Doris P. Forrest; and her great grandchild Aubrey Elizabeth Clamp.
She is survived by: her son Henry Clamp (Becky) of Saluda; her brother George Donald Porter of Saluda; her grandsons, Jason Clamp (Suzie) of Lexington, Justin Clamp (Kimberly) of Saluda and Jeremy Clamp of Saluda; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Aiden and Ashlyn Clamp. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Emory Methodist Church Cemetery (755 Emory Rd, Saluda, SC 29138).
