She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Raymond Collins and Carrie Lou Burnett Collins; her husband Frederick Grant "F. G." Scurry, Jr.; her son Ralph Scurry; and her granddaughter Jennifer Scurry.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Preston (Tony) of Fairfield, VA and Grant Scurry (Nancy) of Rock Hill; her daughter-in-law Debbie Scurry of Saluda; her grandchildren, Sam Scurry (Amanda) of Augusta, GA and Caitlin Scurry Johnston (Graham) of Houston, TX; and her great grandchildren, Griffin and Grady Johnston.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church (340 Hickory Grv Rd, Saluda, SC 29138).
