He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther John Rodgers, Sr. and Lelia Storey Rodgers; his daughter Melanie Ann Jones; his siblings, Hattie Mae Storey, Ruby Proctor and Dewey Rodgers; and his grandson Mykal Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Goodman Rodgers; his daughters, Miranda Rodgers Goff (James) of Saluda, Marsha Rodgers Tucker of Saluda and Wendy Rodgers Craps (Mitch) of Leesville; and his siblings, Johnny Rodgers of Ward, Jerry Rodgers of Waterloo and Annie Ruth Satcher of Ward. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 a private funeral service will be held 4 p. m., Monday, July 20, 2020 at Deans Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ray Southerland officiating.
