It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lessie Burno of Saluda, South Carolina, born in Prosperity, South Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Burno, Sr. and Josephine Wise Burno; her son Melvin Burno; and her siblings, Robert Burno, Jr., Ardee Burno, Sr. and Sarah Alice McGraw.
She is survived by: her sons, George Edward Burno of Saluda, SC, Willie Fred Burno (Melisa) of Saluda, SC and Ray C. Burno of Saluda, SC; her siblings, Lillie Williams (Augustus) of Harrisburg, PA, L. J. Gallman of Prosperity, SC and George Andrew Mack (Sandra) of Prosperity, SC; her siblings-in-law, Thelma Burno of Harrisburg, PA, Mae Bell Burno of Harrisburg, PA and Artis McGraw, Jr. of Saluda, SC; and her friends, Mary H. Wise of Saluda, SC and Diane Gilliam Wise of Saluda, SC. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
