She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Bethea (Frank) of Saluda and Charlene Pitts (Billy) of Prosperity; her grandchildren, Katy Bethea (Jason Hughey) of Piedmont, Gib Bethea (Fiona) of Atlanta and Evan Pitts (Rebecca) of Pomaria; her great grandchildren, Jude Pitts, Silas Pitts, Mairead, Seamus, Eilis Bethea and Owen Hughey; and her brothers, Charlton Sample (Sue) and James Guy Sample (Janet).
