It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Williams (Saluda, South Carolina), born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, R. S. Byrd and Phyllis Byrd; her children, Tyrone Williams (Deborah) of Fredericksburg, Charles Williams (Mary) of Laurens, SC, Tony Williams (Audrey) of Upper Marlboro, Jesse Williams of Saluda, SC and Jacqueline Williams of Upper Marlboro; her grandchildren, Marlon Tyrone Williams of Desoto, Charles Toshay Williams (Pearl) of Capital Heights, Tony Williams of Upper Marlboro, Christopher Antonio Williams of Upper Marlboro, Mia Griffin (Reggie) of Arlington, Kavia Williams of Temple Hill and Raeshaun Hackett of Atlanta; her great grandchildren, Bryce Oglesby of Arlington, Michael Charles Williams, Dyshaun Tyrese Williams of Dallas and Mya Oglesby of Atlanta; her great great grandchildren, Lorealyn Williames of Dallas and Jade Williams of Dallas; and her sister Celest Burton of Silver Springs. She was also cherished by her loving nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.
