It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen O'Brien Corley of Saluda, South Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil R. Corley; her parents, Michael Fletcher and Irene O'Brien; her sisters, Gladys O. Bruce, Juanita O. Walker and Mary O. Tollefson; and her son-in-law Larry Gentry.

She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia Blease (Tom) of Saluda and Barbara Gentry of Saluda; and her grandchildren, Brian Blease (Stevi), Matt Gentry (Jennifer), Melanie Moorer (Brad), David Blease (Ginny), Ryan Gentry (Melissa) and Russell Gentry (Stephanie). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saluda Baptist Church, 112 West Wheeler Circle, Saluda, S.C., 29138 or to a charity of one's choice.
