She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Pitts Perry and Elizabeth Wilson Perry; her husbands, Rev. James Milton Prater, Meadors Minick and Louis Givens; her daughter Sherry Prater Murphy; and her son-in-law Rev. Wes Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Rusty Prater (Deborah) of Edgefield and Kim Hunt (Jeremy) of Lexington; and her caregivers, Dawn Orr and Lenora Springs. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
