He was predeceased by: his father James Benjamin Padget; and his brother James "Jim" Padget. He is survived by: his mother Edith Clark Padget of Saluda; his daughters, Allie Shealy (Trey) of Saluda and Erin Youngblood (Matt) of Taylors, SC; his brothers, Gene Padget of Columbia, Joe Padget of Saluda and Rick Padget of Gilbert; and his grandsons, Riah Tallman and Bettis Shealy.
