He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion, Sr. Clarke and Carrie Bell Allen Clarke; and his siblings, Albert Clarke, Marion Clarke, Jr., Johnny L. Clarke, Eddie B. Clarke, James S. Clarke, Freddie Clarke, Frank Jones and Catherine Clarke Abney.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Gilliam Clarke; his children, Sandra Clarke, Demetres Clarke of Saluda, SC, Michael Clarke (Bridget) of Greenwood, SC and Jermaine Clarke of Saluda, SC; and his siblings, Nathaniel Clarke of Saluda, SC, Sylvester Clarke of Saluda, SC, Essie C. Lurk of Greenwood, SC and Carrie C. Richardson of Woodbridge, NJ. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; five sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
