He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Storey and Mary Alice Evans Storey; his wife Susan Faye Richburg Storey; his son Ted Ray Storey; and his brothers, Sammy Storey, Joe Ben Storey and Ted Ray Storey.
He is survived by: his daughter Paula Reese (Cody) of Saluda; his siblings, Gordon Storey of Saluda, Nellie Rish of Gilbert and Gloria Goodwin of Saluda; and his granddaughter Raylyn Reese. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
