She is survived by: her husband Marlin Lee Carpenter, Jr.; her children, George Dale Singletary, Joshua Singletary (Krista), Marlin Carpenter II (Amanda), Timothy Carpenter (Robin) and Melissa Singletary; her grandchildren, Christina Singletary, Scott Randolph, Jacob Randolph, Emily Carpenter and Marlin Carpenter, III; her stepgrandson Alex Williams; and her niece Eryka Day (Chris).
