He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ballenger McCarty and Mary Lee Mack McCarty; his wife Judith Annette Trotter McCarty; and his siblings, Ira James McCarty, Harold McCarty, Floyd McCarty and Ruby Maroney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynne McCormick (Steve) of Leesville, SC and Theresa Craps (Dean) of Leesville, SC; his grandchildren, Tim McCormick (Jessica), Brandon McCormick, Amanda Vidal, Kelli DeBoer (Rob) and Dennis Crepes (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Bryson, Braeden, Britton and Ethan; and his siblings, Don McCarty (Norma) and Catherine McCarty.
