We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2020, at the age of 69, Caryon Gail Matthews of Saluda, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Landrum Matthews and Ona Matthews of Saluda. She is survived by: her husband Richard Murray; her brother Lynn Matthews (Nancy); her children, Anna Hill (Kyle), Jason Raiford (Jennifer) and David Dawsey; her stepchildren, Al Murray and Monnie Murray; and her grandchildren, Noah, Olivia and Jackson.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Riverbanks Botanical Garden, Riverbank Society, 500 Wildlife Parkway, Columbia, SC 29210.
