We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Carrie Mae Black Oswald in Saluda, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tillman Black and Mannie Ellen Black; her husband Ethan "Jack" Julian Zeblon Oswald; her son Ethon Ray Oswald; and her brothers, Frank Black, John "Bill" Black, Raymond Black and Perry Black.

She is survived by: her children, John Allan Oswald (Linda) of Saluda, Caffie O. Summer of Hodges, Julia O. Tennant of Saluda and Michelle Oswald. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sardis Baptist Church (204 Sardis Rd, Saluda, SC 29138). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Sardis Baptist Church, 2240 Sardis Road, Saluda, SC 29138.
