He was predeceased by: his parents, Valton Grady and Geneva Sue Berry Black; his mother-in-law Rachel Diane Bartley; and his great-niece Caylie Berry. He is survived by: his wife Susan Bartley Black; his daughters, Mattie E. Black (Josef) and Jordan A. Black; his close friends, Izzy and PePe; his father-in-law Freddie Bartley (Tavy); and his sisters-in-law, Lynn Smith (Bradley) and Freda Barrett (Jason). He is also survived by his three nieces; one nephews; three great nieces; two great nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
