We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2021, at the age of 91, Annie Lanell Scurry Gardner (Saluda, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Eric Scurry and Annie Lee Coleman Scurry; her husband John Sheppard "Jack" Gardner, Jr.; and her siblings, Mae Cromer, Everette Scurry, Hubert Scurry, Wadell Scurry, James Scurry, Robert Scurry and Jerry Scurry.
She is survived by: her children, Charles K. Gardner (Celia T.) of Saluda, Sandra G. Padget (W. Merchant) of Saluda and DonnaKay G. Rushton (J. Kenneth) of Saluda; her grandchildren, John T. Gardner (Olivia), Jamie P. Butler (J. Dean), MeriAn Gardner P. Chomic (Nicholas W.), Kayla Lee R. Haynes (Ellys) and Mark G. Rushton (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Butler, AnaBelle Chomic, William Chomic, Owen Haynes and Brady Sheppard Haynes.
The family asks that those in attendance practice social distancing and wear face masks.
