He was predeceased by: his parents, Pringle Ward and Florena Michau Ward; his daughter Helen Jeneen Ward; and his siblings, Robert James "Bubba" Ward and Evelyn W. Rowell.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra "Sandy" Darlene Ward of Trio and Russell "Rusty" Swinnie Ward of Trio; his granddaughter Candice Nichole Billie (Andrew Jordan); his sister Geneva Altman (Tommy) of St. Stephen; and his close friend Jerri McDonald of Hannahan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Swinnie and Frances Ward to Trio Methodist Church, 39 Front Street, Salters, SC 29590.
