She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon Samuel Porter and Elizabeth Bolden Porter; her daughter Brenda Michelle (Mickie); her grandson Chandler; and her husband Robert Lee Dozier.
She is survived by: her godchildren, Terrence, Damiano and Damiene Green; her sister Harriette Green; her children, Sharon Richbow (Wayne), Katina Harris (Chaunce) and Robert Tyrone Dozier; her granddaughters, Kayla Sparks, Gabrielle Richbow and Courtney Richbow; her siblings, Eloise White, Eva Carroll, Maggie McMillan (Chappell), Rosa Williams, Elizabeth Sumpter and Rev. James Porter (Catherine); her sisters-in-law, Odell Bartell, Lila Dozier, Iva D. Nesmith, Thelma Dozier and Catherine Dozier; and her friend Joan M. Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other close relatives, and lifelong friends.
