He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Joe Chandler, Sr. and Mellie Williams Chandler; his daughter Deloris Hugee; and his siblings, Jim, Joe, Johnny, Harry, Margie, Mamie, Lucille, Geneva, Wilhelmenia and Lillie.
He is survived by: his wife Dessie L. Chandler; his daughters, Barbara A. Chandler of Florence, SC and Angelia B. Chandler; his brothers, Frank Chandler of Holly Hill, SC and Alexander Chandler of Lantana, FL; his children, Ronald Chandler of New Haven, CT, Shaka Moustafa of Columbia, SC and Alechia Dotts of Salters, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Pope (Harold) of Salters, SC, John Dotts of Titusville, FL and Joseph Dotts (Lillie Bell) of Salters, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
