With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ector Daniel Shepard Jr. (Salters, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2024 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ector Daniel Shepard and Bevis Boyd Shepard. He is survived by: his wife Penny Burnett Shepard; his daughter Matelon S. DeFreese (Dave); his granddaughter Hayley DeFreese of Summerville; and his sister Carol Morgan (C. J.) of Scurry, Texas..
The military honors will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery (4501 SC-377, Salters, SC 29590).
