It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam P. McMichael (Salley, South Carolina), who passed away on January 25, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Poole and Ida Starnes Poole; her husband David Martin McMichael, Sr.; her son David M. McMichael, Jr.; her grandson Stephen I. Davis, Jr.; and her brothers, Maurice Poole and Alton Poole.
She is survived by: her daughters, Delaine M. Davis (Steve) of Neeses and Emma P. Sandifer (Ray) of Bamberg; her grandchildren, Justin L. Davis (Stephanie), Jill W. Vaughan (Bryan), Jeffery F. Williams and Willie Ray Sandifer (Molly Kenner); her great grandchildren, Brooke D. Stroud (Tanner), Austin Davis, Bryson Vaughan, Sawyer Vaughan, Allie Davis, Levi Davis and Kennedy Sandifer; her great great grandchild Tallen Stroud; her sisters, Frances P. Harmon of Jacksonville, FL and Alva P. Hoffman (T. O.) of Salley; and her sister-in-law Joyce Poole of South Congaree. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
