He was predeceased by: his parents, James McNeil Boles and Onie Mae Whetstone Boles; and his nephew Bill Young. He is survived by: his children, Tracey Johnson (Stevie), Kathy Boles and Ken McNeil "Mac" Boles, Jr. (Christy); his grandchildren, Dallas Johnson, Natalie Boles and Ava Boles; his sisters, Linda Kirkland (late Lane) and Judy Young (Dee); and also Chasiti Jackson (Mark).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, Clinton United Methodist Church, or Berlin Baptist Church.
