With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Parks Sr. of Salley, South Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian K. Parks and Eva Trotter Parks; and his sister Rosa Jane Parks. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Jo Entzminger Parks; and his children, Elizabeth Ann Figueroa (David) of Kernersville, NC, Jerry Parks, Jr. (Jill) of Thomasville, NC and John Charles Parks of Orangeburg, SC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great, grandchildren.
